Sean Healy

In 1996, Sean's career in music began when a venue owner in Hollywood - who’d hired Sean as a day manager - recognized Sean's potential for booking talent and set him on the course to booking bands. Sean soon found his niche, discovering that his position empowered him to help unsigned artists and build a business at the same time. Through developing connections with key industry partners and bringing packed houses to their rooms (including House of Blues, Viper Room, Roxy, Troubadour, Great American Music Hall, and Grove of Anaheim) Sean was able to offer up-and-coming talent an incredible opportunity to perform live in front of an audience that could influence the future of their careers.

Along with producing and promoting events showcasing local talent, Sean Healy Presents has provided opportunities for local acts to share the stage with nationally and internationally-known talent across the US. SHP has worked with everyone from Kendrick Lamar to George Clinton, J Cole to Khalid, Russ, Big Sean, Jhene Aiko and more. In 2024, SHP will celebrate its 28th Year Anniversary.

In 2023, SHP did shows at Madison Square Garden, The Forum and has the pleasure of doing the first ever K-pop public concert at The Apollo Theater in New York.

Nelson Grigsby

Nelson has been part of the SHP team since 2011. His interest in working in music was fostered at an early age, reading his Dad’s Billboard magazines and following him around on the sets of music videos and award shows. Always keeping up with industry news from those publications, that itch eventually led to studying Music Business at USC, where he met Sean Healy while researching a class project in entrepreneurship.

Later, while looking for an internship, Nelson reached out to SHP and was brought on as a Production Manager. Moving to intern in the office in 2012, Nelson became Sean’s assistant in 2013, Director of Operations in 2016, and in 2019 was named Vice President of Sean Healy Presents.

Buster Pang

Buster started interning with Sean Healy Presents in August of 2018, and began working full time with the team at the beginning of 2019.He began working at a local music venue in high school, and was promoted to manager, overseeing 3-4 concerts on a weekly basis. While managing a band on the side, he was introduced to Sean and the rest of the team. After taking on a role as SHP's production coordinator, he was promoted to Director of Operations in late 2022.

Christian Garkani

Christian became a full-time member of the SHP staff in February of 2022 after starting as an intern in the latter half of 2021. He grew up playing in bands with friends and became very active in school drumlines, jazz bands and concert bands - Spawning his love for music at a young age. 

 

His interest in SHP was ignited in 2019 after discussing the company with a friend and former SHP employee. He reached out to Sean & Nelson in 2020, inquiring about a career switch from his previous job in transportation. Christian currently works as a Talent Buyer in addition to helping with Graphic Design. .

Michael Villacorta

Mike began interning with SHP in September of 2021, and began working part time with the team in May of 2022. He started working in high school doing freelance music engineering gigs, until eventually he became a research analyst for a music library. With his natural interest in music, Mike became extremely interested in SHP and is now the youngest member of the team at 21 contributing as the company's Marketing Lead.

Lola Marquez

Lola joined SHP as a Marketing Intern in June of 2023 upon beginning her final year in college. Attending concerts from a young age sparked her passion for live entertainment and concert promotion. Studying Entertainment and Hospitality Management at Cal State Fullerton, Lola furthered her interest in the music business leading her to SHP. After completing her internship in December of 2023, Lola now works part time as SHP’s Administrative Assistant.
